Transcript of 100 Questions publicity interview with Sophie Winkleman:

"It relates to the Soulmates Specialists company that she visits to find her perfect mate, because, although she has all this chaotic stuff happening in her life, she’s very romantic and she would like something wonderful for her whole life.

So she goes to see this person saying, 'I think something’s slightly wrong with me. Guys that I meet think everything’s huge and it’s not quite right and..., but I would like to be with someone for ever.'

And she goes to meet this person and they have a hundred questions they’re going to ask her: one per episode.

She is asked a question about herself and the full answer to that question is shown in the show - so flipping forward, back and forth in time, to give as full an answer as possible.

So the first one is 'are you honest?' – '...sort of'. And the next one, I don’t know, but you know what I mean.

The show is about her realising that she can’t get engaged to someone because she feels bad about saying 'actually, I don’t want to marry you'.

That’s not a very good idea. To be married to someone for life because you felt too bad about saying no.

And [the show is about] all her friends helping her navigate through this strange sea of new honesty."

100 Questions aired in the US on NBC from 27 May 2010 for six episodes.
